The secret to change to is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

— Socrates

I offer in person and virtual therapy. My office is a safe space - private, comfortable and free of judgment. I see individuals and couple, adolescents, adults and older adults. Virtual sessions are conducted via a HIPAA compliant telehealth site. Building trust is an important concern of mine and keeping your information safe is paramount to building trust.

  • How to start

Reach out to me via email, text or phone call. If I don’t answer I may be helping someone else. Leave me your name, contact and insurance information, and your availability in the message. I will contact you as soon as possible. You and your message are important to me.

  • First Visit

Our first visit will be a time to get to know each other. I often do an assessment so that I can get to know you. This is done in a relaxed and flexible way. Now is a good time for you to ask me any questions you might have. This session will last about 50 minutes.

  • Ongoing therapy

Therapy is an ongoing process. Making changes in your life takes time and energy. Here are some tips that might help increase your success: make therapy a priority, be honest with yourself and your therapist - be fearless and brave, take notes and risks, do homework, set goals for therapy, make therapy about you and be patient. If you are doing the work changes should happen.

  • Insurance and payments

Insurances are complicated for a provider and a consumer. If you have questions about your insurance it is best to contact them directly. I accept self pay/out of pocket, BCBS and most medicaid policies.
